Hampton Court - built in 1514 by Cardinal Wolsey is situated along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. This wonderful Palace became a favorite residence of Henry VIII and several of his wives lived here.
The ghost of young Catherine Howard is said to haunt the corridor leading to the Chapel Royal where she ran from her captors!. In the courtyard you can see the World Famous astronomical clock built in 1540 for the king.
The breathtaking gardens await your inspection together with Privy Garden laid out for King William and restored to its former glory in 1995. The grounds feature the famous grape vine, the unusual maze and Henry VIII's tennis court.
